The thought occurs to me with all this Star Wars stuff why not a Stargate rules style. Just a few outline prelim thoughts.
Stargate Command. The basic human troops advantage is guns and plot. To represent that I was thinking of having the basic list as basically Storm trooper squads, HQ with assistants ala guard and a few support squads with differing abilities
Troops
Sg teams - five men
Basic human, flak armour. BS4, ld8, All with Boltguns and bolt pistols. May have one heavy bolter or sniper rifle per squad. May have one one grenade launcher or flamer per squad. May purchase grenades.
Science support squads - 6 man
only bs 3 but can take up to 3 experimental weapon with generator
Energy cannon - either 1 strength 9 ap1 hit or 3 strength 5 ap 4 hits
Blast cannon - strength 6 ap 3 small blast.
All weapons suffer from get hot
Command - Colonel BS5.
Advisors BS4, along with 4 veterans, also get WS4
up 2 special weapons.
Advisors - Science - 5+ invulnerable - shield. One reroll per turn on a gets hot roll
Ancient languages - Deployment and sieze the iniative reroll.
Tactical - Free scout move for d6 units
Gou'ald
Native levies - Distrusted, and equipped merely with hand weapons and rocks of native worlds rocks - count as pistols, s2 range 6 inches
Jaffar - elites suffering from Imperial guard school of marksman ship
WS 4, BS3, T4, s3
4+ save feel no pain - symbiote. Staff weapons strength 9 AP2, Assault 1, in combat used as a tow handed weapon to give +1 strength
zat guns s3 ap 4 pistols
Personal guard
Like the above but bs 4 and 3+ save, and only 5 allowed as personal guard of Gou'auld. May use Look out Aaargh rule for Gou'ald
Gou'ald -
WS5, BS5 T4, S4
Power Claw (that hand shocker thing) + counts as a bolt pistol. Never takes leadrrship for units running close to him (Cares not for minions lives) but if his own squad takes casaulties he may get annoyed and decide discretion is better part of Valour.
Replicators- Basically scarab swarms but without jetpack and feel no pain instead of we'll be back. Human relicators thinking of mix scarab and Ctan
The Asgard-
No idea how you'd do them battlefield wise since mostly on ships blasting stuff
Ori- Never saw those episodes
Wraith - Space Vampires, so I was thinking Eldar style stats.
