"Mousillion was once the pride of Bretonnia. In the age of Gilles the uniter, Landuin of Mousillion was his most favoured knight, champion of a 1000 battles. But with Gilles death Landuin faced and with him the city. The foul marshes encroached on the city walls and the gleaming marble crumbled to reveal the mud beneath.
The foulness that was growing at the very of Mousillion was only revealed during the Red Pox. Everywhere Bretonnians died in their thousands. This death was followed by a plague of Ratmen. Only Mousillion and its Red Duke survived untouched. The crusade from Mousillion acted to recreate those of Gilles the Uniter, until after freeing Quellenes from the Skaven menace, the Duke joined the victory feast. He and his red clad knights acted voraciously, more like wild beast then men. When the Duke was asked to accept the joint victory from, the Duke of Quellenes, he ripped out the neck of the duke, took out a cup drunk the blood. From that moment he was hunted down. Some say he hads become a foul vampire, others that he was just a sick mad man. Some say he still haunts the marshes.
The final fall of mousillion came with the affair of the False Grail. Duke mordred and his sorceress wife Malfleur attempted to claim the Kingdom for themselves, locking up the Fey Enchantress and using Malfleur's dark powers to create the false Grail that still bears Malfleur's name.
When this falsehood was discovered the knights of Bretonnia rallied round to destroy Mousillion once and for all. The siege took years until one evening the city had gone quiet. the investigating Knights discovered the towns population lying dead of the Red Pox where they stood. They recovered the false Grail and declared the city waste, lost to be reclaimed in some future time."
