After a long, long delay (read: two months in Oxford University) the monster rewrite of DoS is almost complete. Give me a few days max to finish off the melee weapon rules, and unless I spot another big change to throw in (like I did today - decided after all that reactor points would suck and wrote them out completely) the core rules will be rewritten, completed, published to PDF and posted up here. I can only apologise for the hideously long wait!
In the meantime, does anyone have requests for melee weapon special rules? I have a bunch already, but there's so many cool things you can do with a mech-sized melee weapon... if you want to see it in the rulebook, now would be a good time to post 'em
Same with anything else though - upgrades, rule ideas, whatever - throw 'em down and I'll see about fitting them into the new version.
Edit: And it's here. Hell yeah. Ideas for the next rewrite please. There'll be many more, for sure...
