It might make sense to give bikes a Swiftness bonus for moving fast - it's much harder to hit a speeding biker than one slowly chugging along. Just a thought.

I decided to do it the other way around and make it impossible for bikes to slowly chug along - hence the minimum move distance. The to-hit modifier for fast-moving targets and the Evasion special action add extra options.
I've been writing the CIS army list and it's surprising how little leeway one gets to make useful synergistic special rules when one has to stick to a solid, very defined canon. This is bugging me somewhat. I'll still do Star Wars army lists, of course, but don't blame me if the 40K version is far more tactical! (Oh, the irony.)
