Has anyone else seen this /tg/ meme? 1d4chan.org/wiki/BrightHammer40kComes complete with the 'Sisters of Rock', Chainguitars, evil Tau, and tyranid Genesis fleets. Could be an interesting alternate setting for DoS/IF/EV/etc.

Could be an interesting alternate setting for DoS/IF/EV/etc. Well, except for the general lack of war.

Well, there are still a lot of threats in the setting - that's why they changed the tagline to "In the noble brightness of the 41st milennium, there is only high adventure".
There is still plenty of warfare, and there are also the Exodites, certain Eldar, and the Tau to fight off.

I did kind of like the optimistic Tyranids... although I prefer my Without Number Lovecraftian horrors ;D

Yes, but innumerable Lovecraftian Horrors are a bit bleak and scary.
Especially when they are aggressive as well.

I can see the Chaos Gods passing little angry notes around...
"I don't know WHO it is that keeps letting Abaddon lose his black crusades, but please, stop it. Some of us have galactic domination to pursue, you know. Thanks, Khorne xxxx"
