I happened to come across these via warseer earlier, made by Pig Iron productions and it occured to me they might be useful for smaller DoS mechs. I'm not sure exactly how big they are but their infantry are the same size as 40k infantry.

Oo, I like that. If we're sharing possible mechs, I might as well fill in what I've found so far: Dream Pod 9 - Heavy Gear miniatures. I think the mechs go to about 2" tall, good for lights, but they also sell upgrade packs full of useful bits, and things like that. Warseer thread bandying about using Gundam miniatures to make Tau titans. Starstore's Spawn range - have a look around, there are a surprising number of plausible mechs in there. And they're really, really cheap. McFarlane ftw. Starship Modeller - site I discovered the other day which could be reasonably useful. Infinity - an excellent, if expensive, resource for light mechs and mechsuits (when I write rules for them ). You can buy them from various sites, including Arcane Miniatures. Warmachine - a game that involves big steampunk war robots. Legs are typically too small due to the top-heavy design, but their range has a good variety of bodies to base your miniatures on (of pretty much any size). Some Armoured Core figures - they're pretty damn hard to find, but if you can get hold of some, they're amazing. Tend to hover around the £20-25 mark and make perfect superheavies (I have one). General video game figures - I daresay at least some of these will come in useful...
